Yes, please be prepared to show a form of identification (if available) and proof income. In some circumstances proof of address may be requested.

The Store is partnered with community entities in respect to a grant called the Two Generation Well-Being Grant a.k.a. Family Well-Being Program. These specific groups refer clientele to The Store that are eligible for grant services and programs.

Do you only carry food in The Store?

No, we have a limited toiletry items and pet food. Please keep in mind these items are all donated. So, we may have something different every time you shop.

Where is your food sourced from?

Food is sourced from Second Harvest and we have other distribution partners. We work had to continue to provide a variety of food, so pop on in and you may never know what new items we have!

How is the Store partnered with Belmont University?

While Belmont has received a 1.5-million-dollar grant from TN DHS for the 2 Generation Wellbeing initiative. The Store is a subcontractor of the grant. The Ministry Center/Store partnership will bring together in one place a range of services and learning opportunities that will offer a unique inter-professional approach to serving families. The ministry center will serve as a referral to The Store and will provide health and legal services for low-income families.
